Ben Stiller has been doing some really bad movies lately, (Duplex,
Starsky & Hutch etc.) so it was nice to finally see him in a better
film. "Along Came Polly" (while no "There's Something About Mary")
is much better than either of the aforementioned crap-fests!
Ruben (Ben) is a risk analysis & his wife Lisa (Debra Messing taking
a Will & Grace break) are newlyweds. Lisa cheats on him with a scuba
instructor, the brilliant Hank Azaria, and Ben goes home to NY
without her.
Enter Jennifer Aniston as Polly Prince, an old school mate of
Ruben's and his best friend Sandy (Phillip Seymore Hoffman stealing
every hilarious scene. He made the movie for me.) Things happen,
Ben has to make a choice when he and Polly (his opposite) begin to
get a bit serious. Is she too much of a risk? Watching this movie
isn't much of a risk, cuz it's pretty funny. Check it out. Oh, if
you'll excuse me, I feel a shart coming on! RAINDANCE! *bonk*
