My wife finally got me to see "The Day After Tomorrow." Each time
she'd ask me, I'd use the movie's title to put her off a little
longer ("When can we see it?" "The Day After Tomorrow..." heh.)
But I was worried for nothing. Aside from being very unlikely and
a few "yeah right" moments, this is a fun, big-budget popcorn flick
that has plenty of thrills. I can't say run right out and see it
next ("Fahrenheit 9/11" earns that recommendation!) but if you are
looking for some mindless fun, you could do worse ("White Chicks,"
Anyone?...)

Comments:
Couldn't deal with it. The physics were RIDICULOUS. The politics were worse.

(Question: When the last instant ice-age began - the one that apparently flash-froze that Mastodon - how was humanity burning fossil fuel to blame for that?)

But I have to admit, watching NYC and LA getting destroyed was fun.
